Rachel recently completed her PhD in coral aquaculture, studying co-culture application to enhance captive coral production. Prior to her studies, she worked as an aquarist at a marine ornamental import and export business, and as a water quality technician on a large-scale prawn farm. She boasts a wide variety of technical and analytical skills, and has worked with a wide range of species across her different roles.

She in interested in improving aquaculture sustainability, by improving linkages and facilitating knowledge transfers between industry and researchers.
