The aim of my project is to estimate specific nutritional needs of juvenile redclaw crayfish. The project will first determine the optimal level of dietary protein for growth and subsequently, the specific requirement for the key amino acid, methionine. The purpose of this is to develop the first formulated diet for use during the early life stages of redclaw.
