Researching aquatic nutrition in the tropics

Our goal at the Tropical Aquafeed Innovations Lab (TAIL) is to study and understand the role nutrition can play in improving aquaculture. Key aspects we are interested in include the physiological and biochemical effects of different feed sources, sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and pathways to industry impact.

Based at James Cook University Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, we host an array of experimental and analytical facilities, along with collaborations all over the world.
